  • Allow access to your camera and microphone if prompted.

3) Set up your shot

Make sure your video and audio look and sound clear.

  • Select the correct Camera and Microphone (⚙️ settings if needed).
  • Good light, camera at eye level; optional: choose 1080p if available.

4) Record

Capture your message and review it.

  • Click Record ▶️, speak, then click Stop ⏹️.
  • Click Play to review; not happy? Retake 🔁.

5) Add to timeline (optional)

Do a quick trim if you need to tidy the ends — no export required.

  • Click Save & edit → your clip appears on the timeline.
  • Drag the clip edges to trim the start/end (keep it short).

6) Share a link (preferred)

Get a shareable link directly from Clipchamp (no file export).

  • Click Share (top-right).
  • Choose Share link (or Share → Copy link).
  • Set permissions to Anyone with the link can view (or your org-wide view, as required).

7) Share link in Moodle or other places

Use the copied link wherever you need students or staff to access it.

  • Paste the link into a Moodle forum post or Assignment online text.
  • Or share the same link via email, Teams/Chat, or on your course page.

Tips 💡

  • Keep it 1–3 minutes, one clear message.
  • Look at the camera lens, not the screen.
  • Do a quick test recording to check audio.
