New SIS Tahvel – Introductory guide for students

Genral info about Student Information System “Tahvel”. Student view.

1. Signing in

Button for signing in is upper right corner – Logi sisse.

At the moment (Spring 2020) there are three ways to enter the system:
ID card, Mobile ID, Smart ID
Soon, the program creators have promised to setup the Office365 username and password authentication for the Seminary.

2. Change language

Currently two languages are available: Estonian and English. The language switching is done vidth the links in the left menu, Est Eng

3. Menu Choices

The following are available in our Seminary.

 

Curricula – Curricula taught in a seminar with a list of subjects taught.
Subjects – List of subjects.
Timetable – A learner’s lesson schedule with the ability to view schedule of study group, lecturer, or class.
My Data – The learner can view and edit his / her personal information.
Academic Calendar – Highlights of the academic year
My Study Information – What matters here are the Learning outcomes (grades), Declaration, Vahesooritused – mid-term grades (grades for the current semester).
Documents – Applications (eg on academic leave) and VÕTA – transfer of subjects from another school.

4. Õpingukava (Ainete deklarateerimine)

Applied subjects for semester – Declaration is approved by the student himself and student is responsible for its validity.
My study information-> Declaration

 

To change the declaration, select Change.

You can add elective subject from your syllabus with the button Add subject of study plan.

Add the desired subject from the list with link Add subject to declaration

The Declartation (Study plan) must be confirmed with the Confirm button below.

5. View your grades

This semester’s grades can be found in Mid-term Intermediate Result list in
My study information -> Vahesooritused

Grades for the entire curriculum can be found in Learning outcomes.

The Learning Results view opens, where you can view
– Implementation of curriculum
– By Study Periods
– By turns Turns of Performance
To see the results, select the triangular button to the right of the subjects module.

A list of subjects taught in the curriculum will be displayed, with a grade.

 

If the subjects module (subjects group) has a red number that indicates how many credit points are not fulfilled in that module.
